Kingsford declines gates for Hog Wild
KINGSFORD – The city of Kingsford is denying a request from U.P. Hog Wild to provide a pair of entrance gates at Lodal Park. The estimated cost of the hinged gates, which would improve security for the annual festival, is $4,000, said Tony Edlebeck, the city’s public works superintendent. The council voted 4-1 Monday to deny funding.
